How Else is "Search Questions" Function in Serpstat Useful?

We've recently updated the long-familiar to users "search questions" function. What is the update and how to use the new features of this function? We will tell you in this article.
What are the "Search Questions" in Serpstat?
Search questions are variations of the suggestions in the form of questions that pop up when you enter a keyword into the search bar.
Serpstat shows all possible search suggestions that include question and looks for it in real time.

All search suggestions are contained in the section "Keyword Research" - "SEO Research". Just enter your keywords and go to the desired section:
In order to find out search suggestions as questions go down to the section below the "Content Marketing" - "Search Questions":
How we improved the "Search Questions" function?
Now our users are able to see not just a list of questions, but their breakdown by specific categories: the most popular words and types of question words.

Here is an example. Let's say we want to find search questions for keyword "gifts" (let's imagine that we make a plan for the content for the blog of the online gift shop).

We enter the keyword, then select the region (let it be Google.US), click on "Search" and go to the already mentioned section "Content Marketing" - "Search questions."
Serpstat has found about 8900 questions, which can already be used as topics for articles. Now let's see what we get in this report:
1.1. Question words' graph
This graph shows what questions are most commonly shown in suggestions for the keywords you entered. For our example (gifts) we have such graph:
Size of the circle correlates with the number of search suggestions within a group. Just click on one of the circles and you will be redirected to the phrases that contain this word.
1.2. Breakdown of keywords by question words
Here we get keywords divided into several groups, depending on the question words that they contain and are shown in the graph above. There may be groups that include the words "how", "what", "what", "where", "who", "who" and others.

For our example, the word "gifts", the biggest number of phrases appeared in the "how" block - 5004 phrases:
Such division into groups will help you to make even more thorough content plan based on specific question words.
1.3. "Most popular words" block
In this block you can see the most used words from the questions found by Serpstat. When you click on one of these words, it is automatically added to the initial request and you will find a search questions with the use of this phrase. For example, if you click on "make", Serpstat will find suggestions for the keyword "gifts make".

Let's see how it works:
The word "make" is added to the search bar:
We get 831 words with usage of phrase "gifts make", that you can see at the report just below:
With this little function you are able to break all keywords into more groups, sorted by words that they contain.
Save your time
Use a batch export of search questions not to mess with each keyword separately. You can also unload lists of keywords to work with them in a spreadsheet.

To do this go to "Keyword Research" → "SEO Research" → "Search Suggestions" then click "Batch Export", write a list of keywords in an empty field, check the filters "Only questions" and "Only keywords without toponyms" and finally click "Export".
