Checklist: Step-By-Step Work With Serpstat Projects

You can add a checklist only to an existing Serpstat project. If you don't have one, you need to create it. I already have projects, so I'll add a checklist to one of them:

Mind that List of projects and Checklist work together. If you add a checklist to a particular project subgroup, the created lists will be divided the same way as in List of projects. You can also add a checklist in List of projects:

While making checklists, you can use Serpstat templates or create your own by choosing "My templates." Any of them are available for a preview.

Template preview shows the number of tasks in general, then a brief description of a template and all the categories that it has. There are 5 template types in Serpstat:

In each category, there is a certain number of tasks that you can examine in details in a preview. Checklists show you statistics on the number of fulfilled tasks in a category and in a project:

I click "Use template" and create a checklist for the technical audit of my project nike.com:

This checklist is divided into categories and tasks. You can edit or delete any box — you need to click on the text and enter the name or option.

You have two ways to add a new task to the category:

• To add a task in the middle of the category, press "+" in the right toolbar;

• To add a task at the end of the category, start typing its name in the bar, as you can see below:

You can add categories in the same way:

You can also add a task out of already created templates. Press "Add From Template Tooltip." After that you'll see a pull-down menu where you can choose a task either from Serpstat templates or your own one:

In the Checklist, you can set a regular interval and the system will repeatedly complete the points that you chose. If some tasks have already been made, you'll see a corresponding status on the appropriate date.

You can set a separate repetition or with a regular interval: every day, afterday, every week or every month:

You can delete any task or category. You'll have an opportunity to restore removed tasks or categories but only before you refresh the page. After refreshing this feature will disappear.

There are two ways for you to save a template in the Checklist: if it was created from scratch or with a Serpstat template. If you make some changes in the checklist, you can either save them in the old list or as a new template:

There is a search bar in the Checklist for your convenience. It looks like a browser standard search bar: the page shows you the number of the found results which are highlighted in yellow and grey:

To create a template for two or more projects go to List of projects and click Create Checklist.

Then choose a checklist template for your projects. You'll see a window where you are to pick projects to apply a checklist:

That's how you can add one checklist template to several Serpstat projects at once. Mind that these checklists would be different for every project. This feature was created to save your time.

You can see other projects this checklist was created for. You need to move the pointer to the project name:

You can rename the created checklist and enter your description. All the changes you make are saved automatically. Moreover, you can add and edit tasks and categories.

You can add a checklist to favorites, and it'll be displayed first in its group. The same will happen with List of projects. If there is a task with repetitive action, it'll also be shown in the Checklist.

Thanks to the Checklists it'll be easier for you to watch and monitor the optimization of your site. Moreover, the new tool will save your time while planning site work. And our templates will help newbies to understand the scheme of actions.
