28 Days Later: How Quarantine Affected Internet Marketing
About two months have already passed from the beginning of the quarantine. Throughout this period, we have been collecting data and preparing a study. When everything is over, we will be able to analyze the impact of isolation on Internet marketing. Finally, we are ready to present the results!
To study the changes in internet marketing caused by the crisis, we launched an anonymous survey involving 4,511 respondents (from the USA, Germany, Spain, and other countries).
The results of the study allow us to get a more accurate representation instead of making a subjective assessment of the situation.
This is an opportunity for Serpstat and other companies specializing in the digital sphere to understand how a niche lives, what problems it has, what we should keep in mind during strategic planning. The study provides businesses with information about measures being taken in the market and shows ideas for interacting with customers. For specialists, this study is interesting because it allows you to evaluate career prospects.
Personally, for me, it didn't change much as I have been always working from home.
There is only one little exception - now I can't go to coworking spaces or visit other countries.
Thus, we confirmed that the influence of quarantine on user behavior directly depends on the niche. Some projects only benefit from the fact that users now spend time on social networks, blogs, and other information resources. At the same time, due to the growth of activity in social media, the level of information noise increased.
The place of work has also changed. Most of the employees previously worked in the company office. Now 90% of the employees work from home. We can decide where we work. Meetings take place via video conference or telephone. A few years ago, the company exchanged PCs for laptops, making the switch to the home office even more comfortable.
Especially with online marketing companies, it is crucial to continually adapt to new challenges and keep up with the times and adapt offers. The online marketing industry, in particular, is continually changing and making progress. ABAKUS Internet Marketing has existed for almost 20 years, and one reason for its success is its many years of experience for the continuous development of the offered products.

Great article! Just a heads up, you might want to check the "Work from home" graphic, as the numbers on there don't seem to reflect the text above. I was definitely surprised to see that 64% of marketers were already WFH!
