Enter your competitor domain name into the search bar on Serpstat, go to PPC Research / Ads and click Export. The report contains ads titles and descriptions among other stats. The data will help you learn about product items or services promoted by your competitor. You might want to use competitor ads headlines and descriptions as a baseline for your ads.

How to find gaps in your paid search campaigns?

Enter your domain name into the search bar on Serpstat, click Search and browse to PPC Research / Domain vs Domain. Enter one or two competitor domains into the corresponding fields (or select from the suggested competitors) and click Compare. The diagram displays common paid keywords of the researched domains and unique keywords of your competitors that you might have missed during campaign setup.

How to collect a comprehensive pool of keywords for advertising campaigns?

Enter a generic keyword related to your offerings into the search bar on Serpstat, - for example, “laptop”.
Browse to Keyword Research and export the following reports:

SEO Research / Keyword Selection
SEO Research / Cluster Research
SEO Research / Search Suggestions


Put all exported keywords into one file and remove duplicates and unrelated keywords. The resulting keyword list can be split up into campaigns and ad groups.

Enter your competitor branded keyword into the search bar on Serpstat, for exampleavon”. Browse to SEO Research and export the keywords presented under Keyword Selection / Related Keywords and Search Suggestions. Look them through, choose those relevant to the items / services you offer, and add them to your advertising campaigns.

How to choose final URLs with compelling content on your blog?

Enter your domain name into the search bar on Serpstat and go to SEO Research / Top Pages.
Change the address to your blog category URL ( https://domain.com/blog/) and select URL Prefix. The report presents all pages on your blog that are ranking for at least one keyword in search, along with their social shares.

Another way to find engaging content is to analyze the number of backlinks earned by blog entries. Enter your domain name into the search bar on Serpstat, click Search and go to Backlink Analysis / Top Pages. The report shows the number of domains and pages referring to your pages. You might want to export the report for the convenience of analysis.

The number of keywords, social shares and backlinks will help you discover pages with high-quality content that can be used as final URLs in your ads.

How to discover paid keywords of your competitor?

Enter your competitor domain name into the search bar on Serpstat, click Search and go to PPC Research / Keywords. The report presents keywords that your competitor is bidding on in search advertising and ads displayed for the paid keywords.

How to learn about your competitors in paid search and discover their paid keywords you might have missed?

Enter your domain name into the search bar on Serpstat, click Search and go to PPC Research / Competitors. The reports contains your competitors in paid search based on common keywords.
The data under Missing Keywords field presents unique paid keywords of your competitor that you might have missed to bid on.
