Checklist for Local SEO

1. Contact page
The website has a Contact Us page with the full name of our business, address, and phone number that you can use to contact us. Google Maps is embedded on the contact page, with the address of our website.
2. Phone number and call to action
The website page shows the clickable phone number of our business on the first screen. Each landing page on the first screen of the site has a call to action and a button to take a targeted action (application, call, request for demo).
3. Google My Business
We added our website to Google My Business (GMB). GMB indicates a real physical address of our business. We filled in and optimized all the data in GMB.
4. Up-to-date and comprehensive contact information
The website and GMB provide the same address, name, and phone number. Our company name, address, and phone number are identical on all pages of the site.
If we have a few branches (up to 5), all of them should be added to the footer (address and phone)
If we have more than 5 branches, we have to add a separate page or a screen for selecting a branch.
5. Micro-markup
We use all necessary types of micro-markups. Micro-markup for every landing page on the site and OpenGraph for all pages of the site are mandatory.
6. Feedback
We use customer feedback to make the landing pages by cities and branches unique. We use customer feedback on pages of services and products they have used. We created a link to Google Reviews and ask our customers to leave feedback about our company (for example, in an email or text message after the service is rendered).

We take every opportunity to get feedback from customers

  • QR code on the business card;

  • QR code on a sticker on your product or its packaging;

  • link in an email;

  • link for feedback in Viber or SMS;

  • Discount on the next product/service for feedback.
7. Details
We added special offers, discounts, and opening schedules for each of our affiliate locations.
7. Social Media
We created pages on major social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, VK, etc.). We made sure they have a link to our website, up-to-date numbers and addresses.
8. Links
We added our site to all the niche and local directories and got mentions in all the local media. It is preferable to use unique text for each directory.
