Ranged Search Volume In Google's Keyword Planner. No Reason For Panic.

Keyword planner now shows ranged search volume to those who don't run any campaigns or whose budgets are not high enough. Serpstat still shows precise search volume to its users.
About a month ago, Google's representative shared their new policy regarding the data provided by Keyword Planner:
As of this week, previous technical issues affecting the Keyword Planner tool are now resolved. Some important updates to keep in mind:

  • Most advertisers will see search volume data in Keyword Planner as usual.
  • Advertisers with lower monthly spend may see a limited data view in the Keyword Planner. For example, you may see values such as 0, 1-100, 100-1K, 1K-10K, 10K-100K, 100K-1M, 1M+ in the average monthly searches column. In addition, other advertisers may trigger the limited data view by reaching a limit on the number of searches for search volume data.
  • Access to traffic forecast data will remain unchanged.
  • The AdWords API will continue to return full data.

These changes will ensure that AdWords advertisers are able to get the data they need to optimize their accounts.
Keyword Planner's New Search Volume Data
If you don't run any campaigns in AdWords or if your budget are not high enough, this is what you'll see in Keyword Planner:

Plus, according to the statement from Google, the number of results you'll see with precise volume is also limited and depends on your budget.
If your budget is high enough (official statement about the limit has not beer released yet) you'll see the search volume that you're used to:
